Hi@all,
i was just about to post a screenshot of my desktop. The file is 800kB and I uploaded it to imgbb.com and copied the link.
Now when I want to paste it via the IMG tag I always get the message "Forum Rules" at the top.
In the forum rules I can't find any information about the file size.
How big can a file from imgbb.com be?

Re: Allowed size of images?
Use the rimg tag, not the img tag.
Re: Allowed size of images?
Also with rimg tag. Same message. In the title above in red "Forum Rules"
Re: Allowed size of images?
The other route, if a screenshot is a png, convert to a jpg to get under the 200kb limit for uploads to the forum. Remote images - I'm not aware of any limit.

Re: Allowed size of images?
- and a little further up it says that you are in the Chat forum ...
Anyway, your link to the image hoster should look like this:
Double click the link and click the rimg button.
At the bottom of the input window you can use the Preview button to check before sending whether all inputs have been accepted.
Re: Allowed size of images?
That message is always going to be there, it has nothing to do with image size. It's just a reminder.
If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!
Re: Allowed size of images?
The size limit is 200KB; you can compress a ~1920x1280 image to a readable 100KB file, or nice-looking 150KB file, with jpg compression values 10 and 20 or so. This is from xnview, which has a preview of what the compressed file will look like.
