Why don't you use the SHA-SHS checksum

Post by Openxworld » Thu Jan 11, 2007 6:03 pm

Usually and basically most of files (to be downloaded) come with the MD5 CRC checksum

A more efficient one is the SHA-SHS (SHA1 and MD5 are quite obsolete and have vulnerabilities)

I suppose it would be better for Bianca to come with SHA-SHS checksum

sha256; sha386 et sha512

Have a look also at GNU Privacy Guard
