'Rescue' function on live cd

Postby 5x5 » Thu Nov 29, 2007 4:45 pm

This may have been already suggested but it just occured to me today that it really sucks that there is no rescue function when you've screwed up your Grub beyond repair (or the abilities of a newbie) and you have to boot from the live cd. This occured, coincidentally, after I screwed up my Grub beyond repair. :-)

Well, just boot the live-cd and use grub-install? It's included in mint.
