Make use of "windows key" of keyboard

Postby rodolfoarce » Mon Nov 21, 2011 7:51 am

I know that prehaps not so many people actually use this key, but all keyboards have it. Even a computer that sell with linux pre-install linux use this key (replacing) with a ubuntu key

Now that many desktop enviroments have an "application search" tool like gnome 3, perhaps linking this key with a application search utility could be usefull, not that is rocket science to do this on our own, but is a statement, to shape this key to make better use, to things OUR way

Thanks.. R

I map my windows key to F11 (fullscreen) in a netbook without an F11 key, but I have not found a need for it on a desktop. Application search? Not interested.
