Add right click option to undelete from trash in Elyssa

Post by exploder »

Would you like to be able to undelete items from the trash in Elyssa? Here is how to add the undelete feature to your system.

I tried and tested this and it works great!

Nice little how-to but it is pretty easy just to drag the file back out of the trash to wherever you want.

I have to agree with you! I just thought some would want to add this feature since Gnome 2.24 will have this.

The "How To" needs a little refinement. The downloaded tar.gz file will not install from the command given unless you put it in "Home". You also have to use "sudo" to execute the command.

I have installed this feature on two machines successfully, it is just a nice little added convenience. According to the feature list for Intrepid this will be included.

Edit: I just checked out Intrepid Alpha 6 and can confirm that this feature is present.
