VLC to listen/watch shoutcast streams

Post by mrreality13 »

Hi all this is my first how too-
I hope it helps someone
I have noticed some times in streamtuner their are some issues with shoutcast so I have learned its simple to use VLC to view/listen to shoutcast tv/radio

1-open vlc
2-Click on second tab "view"
3- move down to playlist and open
4-click on "manage"
5-go to "services discovery"
6-tick the boxes for shoutcast raido / tv listings(takes a few seconds to load )
then you will have your directory's almost like streamtuner
(works in windoz too)
