Solved Firefox Dark theme text/Background clash

Post by Hutchie »

Furious_Penguin asked a question in irc about an issue with Mint's default Dark theme In LM 18 Beta.
There is a problem when choosing the Mint -Y Dark theme.
In Firefox the Mint -Y dark theme does not have contrasting text and background in the Mint Search box and the search box in the following search output list. I installed ARC Dark Theme from Fire Fox which works as a great alternative to the default setting. Hopefully this issue with Mint -Y Dark can be sorted before final release

Not sure if the Arc Dark theme is set as default, if not it can be added from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefo ... e/?src=api

Hello,

Thanks for posting, Appreciate the help
With newer versions of Firefox (I think 57 onwards) this theme is no longer supported.
I then searched around an found an extension : https://mybrowseraddon.com/dark-mode.html and firefox addon link https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... bextension
Hope this helps someone looking as I was and reached here! :)
