Fix no icons showing in Dolphin on 18 / 18.1 Cinnamon, MATE or Xfce

If you have installed Dolphin on Linux Mint 18 / 18.1 Cinnamon, MATE or Xfce you will have found it doesn't show icons for files and directories. This is due to some missing KDE Frameworks libraries that Dolphin needs but that weren't installed when you installed Dolphin. You can fix this by installing the packages libqt5libqgtk2 and libqt5svg5 from Software Manager.

Or alternatively with this command from the terminal: apt update && apt install libqt5libqgtk2 libqt5svg5

If the Dolphin toolbar doesn't start with text "Back Forward Icons Compact Details ..." but instead starts with a dot icon followed by "Details ..." you need to do one more change (see this screenshot for what the incorrect Dolphin toolbar looks like). Right-click on the Dolphin toolbar and from its context menu set Text Position to Text Only.
