Live Mint/(Ubuntu) CD/DVD iso customization tool:JLIVECD

It worked great with 18.3 in (u)efi, or (mbr)legacy.
(Take your time, and RTFM, it'll all make sense as you go along, be it gui, or cli.).

You can pre-add any apps, and/or ppa's that you may need in your custom Mint iso.
(BUT, initially during iso "creation", you will simply need to keep the original Mint-18.3 distro kernel-version for a successful iso creation/boot/install, (which will NOT affect your newly/updated apps/ppa's), and. after a successful (bare-metal) install of your newly customized Mint iso, and during post-upgrades you can of course, upgrade anything, and everything, ..., as usual.)

Have Fun.

Just one question: can I install from the LiveCD/LiveDVD that JLIVECD puts out?

Just came back after finding a lot of usefulness in this program after all.

If you want to remaster your current Linux Mint (or Ubuntu), use JLIVECD.

End of testimonial.
