Post by Mroptonix » Sun Jul 22, 2018 4:02 am

I am in university and as a Ph.d student, I have courses with graduate and undergraduate students. I want to Introduce Linux mint as a course for scientific purposes
which references exist for this? (books especially)
first: introducing Linux and make students more happy with Linux? :)
second: and making their own scientific packages

since you are at University, then this may also depend on what level that you wish to use:
Ubuntu Linux For Dummies: ... 0470125055
Ubuntu: A Beginner’s Guide: ... ers-guide/
and you can go higher up, in the level of Linux thinking, as well: ... n-to-linux
