Edimax EW 7811UTC AC600 Dongle Installation

Hi Guys

Here is a quick guide on how to install the drivers and make use of the Edimax EW-7811UTC AC600.


Get connected to internet either via wireless or ethernet.

Open up Terminal

Type in the following commands one by one

#sudo apt-get update

#sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential git

#git clone https://github.com/gnab/rtl8812au.git

#cd ~/rtl8812au

#make

#sudo make install

#sudo modprobe 8812au


Now enjoy your Edimax AC600 dongle.
