Flash player update broken -- how to fix

Postby stafio » Fri Jul 13, 2007 7:47 pm

If you install the Flash update that comes up in the udpate notifications, you may notice that Flash doesn't work anymore when you open up firefox. To fix this, just run these two commands from a terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get --purge remove flashplugin-nonfree

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

Cool. Wish I'd know that before reinstalling through Automatix.
