live-installer: how to handle /target ?

Post by sveinki »

Hi,
in live-installer.po there are several instances of "/target"; is this a variable/placeholder or should this be translated?

Example (usr/lib/live-installer/installer.py:107):

Code: Select all

"ERROR: You must first manually mount your target filesystem(s) at /target to
do a custom install!"
Anyone knows ?

Hi, you're obviously trying to do a "custom install" here. You might not need this option at all as the normal install paths give you options as well if you follow some directions. What are you trying to accomplish? From my understanding, this is the least preferred path unless you really need it.

No, it's a mount point which is always named so, and it shouldn't be translated.

Thanks, just the confirmation I needed.
