Hi Guys,
Ran into an issue with Mint Update on my new LM 19.0 xfce 64-bit install.
When update tries to install the 4.15.0-32 kernel update, if gives the message shown below.
It appears that the archives have been updated with files for the 4.15.0-32.35 kernel update, but the checksums must be for the previous 4.15.0-32.34 version. I installed a clean system yesterday and it went fine. The kernel version it updated yesterday was 4.15.0-32.34, whereas today it seems to be 4.15.0-32.35.
Who do I inform about this?
Cheers,
Mike

Switch your mirror. Or wait a couple of hours until your current mirror has been fixed and fully updated....

Re: Mint Update - Hash Sum mismatch on Kernel update...
You could try restoring your repositories to default in Software Sources and then run the Update Manager again and see if it helps.
If it doesn't, try the following command:
Code: Select all
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update

Thanks for the input guys, and apologies for the late response.
The issue seems to have resolve itself and looked like issues with the local repositories I had set-up.
Cheers,
Mike.
