I'm setting up a debian server with openmediavault and i made a nice grub bootmenu where i can also start some rescue iso's. One of them is Linux Mint 18.3. But i can't get it running with a persistant partition...
I have created a partition labeled 'casper-rw' already and the parameter 'persistent' added in the menu entry.
Still it does not store anything on that partition..
I read tons of stuff about it, but almost all is about making an USB live with persistance..
Can someone help me with this?

Re: Grub boot iso with persistance
I had found that info, but does explain nothing really. It says you have to make an partition names 'casper-rw' and that's it. And the link mentioned in the first post is about Ubunto 20 and the newer Grub 2.04. But that uses another way of making persistence. I have the older Grub version 2.02.
It seems there is no good, clear documentation on making an ISO boot persistence...

Re: Grub boot iso with persistance
I guess mint is from the options list then... going to find another distro that works.
