Wifi 6, Mint 20.2, unrecognized Drivers

Post by MrGamaKen »

Hi here, I hope all of you are good ?

I come here to require some help please.

I did buy a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 2 days ago and I was not able to connect to internet (except using my phone as wired rooter).

It seems that Mint does do recognized my wifi card but driver are noted as N/A when I do try a

Code: Select all

inxi -N
command.

I tried many potential solutions identified in forums but nothing made my laptop able to use wifi.

I tried :
- to get an edge version of Mint Uma (and Ulyssa too)
- to install the drivers (the mensionned by the technical documentation of my laptop is 802.11ax)
- other things like (update Linux kernel to 5.11, older distro installation like mint 19 just)

Nothing let me make my wifi works. Maybe I'm not doing things fine when I tried to install these drivers.

If someone here could have tips, advices, recommandations, testimonies it could be very helpful.

Thanks in advance nice people

We need to see more details. Post the results of this command:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxxxrz && rfkill list && iwconfig && mokutil --sb-state
