Welcome Viktor,

Usually the drivers are included in the Linux kernel and no driver installation is necessary. Does your PC work correctly? Are you able to connect to wi-fi just fine? Then there is nothing you need to do. You say you don't have wi-fi, so you might want to go to a location with wi-fi and test it out.

In some cases (weird or rare wi-fi adapters) it might be necessary to install drivers. But we can't know or advice anything without getting info on your system.

Please give us information about your install by entering this command in a terminal:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxxxpmrz
Click </> from the mini toolbar above the textbox where you type your reply, and then place your cursor between the code markers, and paste the results of the command between the code markers like this:
Results
.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603HE-K8007 (90NR07C1-M01380) - model of laptop.
Sorry for misunderstanding. I don't have wifi means that I have a symbol of wi-fi, but i don't see a list of wi-fi for connections. Connection with ethernet don't work.

Code: Select all

UEFI: American Megatrends LLC. v: GU603HE.314 date: 11/17/2021
It seems like you have very new hardware. So you probably need a newer kernel, 5.4 won't work.
I'm not up-to-date on the latest kernels, I think you can try 5.11? 5.13 maybe? Hopefully someone can fill me in on this.
Graphics:
Device-1: Intel vendor: ASUSTeK driver: N/A bus ID: 0000:00:02.0
chip ID: 8086:9a60
Device-2: NVIDIA vendor: ASUSTeK driver: N/A bus ID: 0000:01:00.0
chip ID: 10de:25a0
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.9 driver: fbdev unloaded: modesetting,vesa
compositor: marco v: 1.24.0 resolution: 2560x1600~93Hz
OpenGL: renderer: llvmpipe (LLVM 11.0.0 256 bits) v: 4.5 Mesa 20.2.6
It looks like you are running without graphical acceleration, is that correct? This could be related to the kernel, or you might need to use the Driver Manager to select a better Nvidia driver.

See if you can get a temporary connection like this:
https://easylinuxtipsproject.blogspot.c ... ernet.html

If so, install the 5.13 kernel in Update Manager, View, Linux Kernels & reboot.

I mean that it doesn't work. I'll try to do my best to download it.
