[SOLVED]Uninstalling mint 12

Hi guys, and thank you for reading. I would like to know how to uninstall mint 12 from my PC running mint 13. Any suggestions , tutorial links out there?

Hello, cowsquad.

You do not uninstall complete operating systems the way you uninstall single software packages, instead you wipe the partition(s) where they lived.
From inside Linux Mint 13 launch gparted and format the partition(s) where Linux Mint 12 had been installed on. Be careful not to destroy the partition(s) used by Linux Mint 13.
In case gparted has not been installed on Linux Mint 13, yet, get it from the Software Centre first.

Do you mind telling me how to remove mint 12 from the grub booting screen?

You could just run update-grub in a terminal or reinstall grub2, and either method should find the Linux OS installations you have on your partitions..
