I know that you can boot ubuntu with window installer but i was wondering if you can boot Linux Mint with windows installer or do you have to do that after you install Linux Mint?

Mint can be booted from a windows boot manager I've linked a couple of pages below where you can get info on how to do it. But your are correct I believe in your assumption that mint would have to be installed first. Is there a reason you don't want to do a dual boot with windows and Mint using the Grub 2 boot loader?
