My problem installing Linux Mint 14 (KDE) is that every time I try to install it, the installer crashes, without any bug report, nothing, just gone. It happens when I select "manually partition" versus the automatic use my entire 1TB HDD. More specifically, it happens every time, and it always crashes right after selecting the second partition. My partition table (GPT) as follows:
sda1 : EFI : /boot/efi
sda2 : ext2 : /boot
sda3 : ext4 : / : Linux Mint
sda4 : ntfs : : Windows 8
free space
sda5 : ext4 : /home
sda6 : swap : swap
My system:
Mobo: Biostar ta75a+
Ram: GSkill 1866 (running @ 1333) 8GB (split between 2 sticks)
Ram: GSkill 1600 (running @ 1333) 16GB (split between 2 sticks)
CPU: amd A8-3850 (OC'd @ 3.4GHz)

Re: Problems installing LM 14
I just tested my computer with the 8GB set of ram, the set I've successfully installed LM14 on earlier, and it doesn't work.

I reformatted and re-burned again, and this time the image worked.
