Hi togehther,
I'm a new linux user and have a problem I couldn't google yet and hope you can help me. after I've updated a lot of packages grub doesn't start any more. To start grub I've to type:
boot=(hd0,msdos)
configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg
After typing this to lines grub is loading and I can make the decision you all know from grub. And now my question: How or exactly where can I write this both lines to get a clean starting/working grub.
By the way: there is just one OS Linux and no Windows on my computer.

Re: grub doesn start automaticly @SUSE Mint 64 Bit
make a fresh install of GRUB2. It doesn't take too long since it seems you know your way around GRUB config, and it has the added bonus of being the newer version of GRUB.
