Mint 15 Cinnamon fails to boot

Hi everybody.
When I turn on my PC, instead of booting I get a wall of text. It just started recently and I haven't made any changes to my system.
Specs:
Mint 15 cinnamon x86_64
Asus M4A785D-M Pro Motherboard
AMD Athlon II X2 3.0Ghz CPU
Nvidia GT220 GPU
8gb DDR2 800mhz
250gb HDD

I've never had such problems with any Linux installation before. This is really weird. I appreciate any help you guys can give.

Edit: I just booted in recovery mode. Repaired packages and updated Grub. After that it did a disk check and booted successfully. I'll have to reboot to see if the wall of text comes back. I'm hoping that this has fixed it.
