Where is distro on hard drive?

Postby dw5437 » Tue Jul 22, 2008 7:04 pm

I installed Suse11.0 first on my computer. Then I installed Linux Mint Daryna 2nd so it would boot first. Then I decided to try Debian Lenny and installed it 3rd. Now I want to remove Suse and replace it but when I look at the partitions I don't know where each one is. Any ideas?

You could review your menu.lst file under /boot/grub to see what goes where. Just an idea.

Thanks lakehousetech. My brain is totally fried or I would have looked at that 1st. My problem is that usually I can't interpret what I am seeing and end up erasing Mint. As you know it would be a Cardinal sin to mess up my Daryna. Here is my menu.lst

All I want to do is delete Suse and replace it with another distro.
