Cinnamon alongside Windows 7 Laptop

Post by smudge »

Hi, I just installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on my HP DM4 laptop. Mint has always worked well on there though I have mostly used live discs. i installed and rebooted and it only boots Windows. I cannot find a way to redo the bootloader without starting again with the disc, any ideas?
Been a hard core Linux and FOSS user since early 1990-92. Big fan of pen testing, OSINT and user privacy. I do not use Facebook or Google products. Use Mint, CentOS, Arch, Kali, and Parrot distros. Started with Mandrake and Suse before Redhat then Fedora.

You could boot the live disk, mount your hard drive(s), then do an osprobe followed by an update-grub.
