How to change the Default mint Usplash??

Postby mbKarlos » Sun Jul 27, 2008 1:26 am

Hi! Well, I am having a problem, because I want to change the default mintUsplash, I want the Linux Mint usplash with no background. I mark it to install in synaptic, then I reboot and nothing happends (the default splash remains there), then I uninstalled the default from synaptic, and reinstall the new usplash and nothing happends. So I want to know what do I have to modify (any text file) so the changes will be applied when booting.

Thanks!

try installing startupmanager. It gives the option to change Uspalsh themes.

Use Synaptic Package Manager or in a terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install startupmanager
