Bianca hangs during booting

Postby jackf » Mon Mar 12, 2007 6:09 am

I downloaded Bianca and burned it at slow speed. Tested and booted correctly on my laptop and another desktop but on a Intel's D865GBF mother board based desktop, the booting process hangs after 2 minutes aprox.

Here are more details on this system:

Processor: X86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 2.6 GHz with HT
BIOS Version: BF86510A.86.077.25.0508040031. 04-08-2005
Memory: 1.024 MBytes
IDE Hdisk: 2
IDE DVDs: 2

Any ideas how to solve this would be appreciated.

This board has integrated graphics. There is a risk that an appropriate driver is not loaded and X failes.
Check this out:

If that solves your problems you can of course not use envy to find your driver. The driver is not in synaptics, you have to go to Intel or some of the sites specialising in drivers.

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
