Booting Error Messages

Postby XiMeNSiOnS » Wed Sep 10, 2008 1:12 pm

I boot the CD and see it saying booting CD in 10 seconds. It goes then see a loading mint bar. Then it goes to a Busy Box shell, and I get error messages similiar to this.

Code: Select all

ata2:0 Exception frozen

Something like that and it keeps saying it over and over.
I really want to get Mint, could anyone help me out and tell me whats wrong.

Thanks

Have you tried compatibility mode?
Press any key when the live CD counts down and you have the choice
I guess that solves it, if not the solutions in the troubleshooter should help

I tried the compatibility mode and also using everything on the trouble shooting guide, none of which worked.

Any other ideas?

Ouch - why did I not give you the standard answer also
It can be a bad CD
Did you check the md5sum and burned as slow as possible?
