Upgrade from "Bea" to "Bianca"

Postby beretta13 » Sat Mar 24, 2007 4:01 pm

I am currently using "Linux Ubuntu: "Bea" Mint". I have seen the new features of "Bianca" and would like to upgrade. During the installation I don't see any options to upgrade. How can I install the new version without losing my data and configuration.

That's easy!

I followed the instructions on the link above - for me it worked like a dream...

Good luck! :)
I don't have a solution, but I do admire the problem.

Easy is right! I installed Bea for the first time a couple of hours ago. I now have Bianca running flawlessly on an older Dell laptop. Easiest in-place upgrade ever!
Funny, Ubuntu 6.10 wouldn't correctly update - broke wifi and other stuff after updates. Mint is a keeper!
