migrating, importing users fails

Postby galen » Mon Oct 27, 2008 3:38 pm

I have my home on another partition and when linuxmint installs it attempts to find existing users. I does import the first user but it fails all others
on-line since 1992, Linux user since 1998: redhat, caldera, debian, mandrake, vector, slackware, peanut, mepis, arch, ubuntu, damn small, slax, partedmagic, puppy, mint.
Say no to Linux bloat, forced nouveau usage.

I have not tried this (not sure what are the required conditions for this, I have not seen any user coming up though I have separate home partition).

But do you mean the user you selected was imported and others failed (which should be fine since its what you wanted) OR the user you selected as well failed to import.
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it -Husse
