on a HP Compaq 6910i laptop
The MD5sum is ok
on boot the live CD I get this error
Loading isolinux: Disk error 04, AX = 4280. Drive 9F
Boot faild: press a key to retry....
can anybody help?

Have you tried "Compatibility mode"?
Press any key while the LiveCd counts down
Also, have you looked at the troubleshooter?

Could you tell us what hardware you have - I know you've written Dell and a model but hat does not tell much as it can be widely different content in the same model - not meaningful to look it up.
