Hi
I just bought a acer e15 and am trying to install 17.2 mate on it. I have it running on two other computers.
I can't get the live version to boot up to even try to install it. It loads until the mouse becomes active and then black screens and
just sits there. I have secure boot disabled if that has anything to do with running it live. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I did try fedora and it ran fine.
Thanks
acer e15

Re: acer e15
1. Did you check the MD5 checksum?
2. Can you boot into the Live DVD/USB in recovery mode?
3. Did you burn the DVD at the lowest write speed?
4. Are there any other Operating Systems on the disk?
5. Have you tried to disable the Ubiquity Slide Show in the installer?
I have to say that Celeron processors are crap.
