It is like you/something have disabled linux UUID (maybe in /etc/default/grub or using another tool as Grub Customizer). If it is so,first fix this changes editing the file.

Code: Select all

sudo gedit etc/default/grub
change the line as follow (notice # must to placed first)

Code: Select all

#GRUB_DISABLE_LINUX_UUID=true
Save file, close editor and update GRUB

Code: Select all

sudo update-grub
Then proceed as recommended to include UUID in the partition lines of fstab

Code: Select all

sudo blkid
sudo gedit /etc/fstab
Copy and paste carefully UUIDs from terminal to fstab for each partition. Save file, close editor and terminal and reboot.Good luck.

PD: There is something I can't fully understand ¿Where is your sda? ¿Is it a secondary/replacement disk?
