We need more information to be able to offer you any solution at all. You have to provide these informations, at the very least:

- Processor make and model. *
- Amount of system RAM.
- Mainboard chipset. *
- Windows version from which you installed Mint.

*: These items can be substituted with the make and model of your desktop/notebook system.

Husse added a mint4win section to the forum. See his post here:

On my hp laptop i have:

mobile AMD sempron 3600+ 1.99Ghz
1Gb RAM
win XP professional
im not sure wich mainmord that is inside this thing, (how to find out?)

There is a similar problem on on of the ubuntu machines home, where i need to type "kernel" and it is ok. I have to do this everytime dough.
I realise that i might have to burn out a live cd, (instead of just mounting the .iso file, wich i can imagine might cause problems)

But on this pc have bios password because i bought it from the school. So i will have problems to boot from it : /

You could use any utilities that give you system information on Windows. Or you could tell us the make and model of your laptop, which are generally imprinted somewhere on the display lid or on the bottom side of the laptop.

My experience with Wubi/Mint4Win is pretty subpar. All solutions for boot up problems that spring into mind involve adding some kernel boot options--which I do not know how with Mint4Win installs.

Should not you have got the password removed?

You have the right to use your laptop without any kind of technical restrictions from your school even though you bought it from them--because it is legally yours now. :)
