hi all.
i recently installed linux mint to a 8gb usb drive. not a persistent or livecd install, but a true full install.
distro works fantastic, but it keeps hanging on shutdown. it will get about halfway then the screen will just go black.
if i hit alt and i believe its f5, it takes me to the screen that tells me what its doing, and its stuck on shutting down ALSA.
any ideas?
ty in advance.

Re: Shutdown Hang.
nvm, i fixed it.
solution was to disable alsa-utils.
update-rc.d -f alsa-utils remove
incase anyone else has this problem.
