So after a series of events that happened to my computer (currently in a legal fight with a "computer repair" business that fried my GPU and a SATA chip for my SSD), I'm on and older laptop of my little sisters in the mean time, that was a bit slow due to a crazyyy bogged down windows. That wouldn't even update to Service Pack 1. And Microsoft Tech Support couldn't even figure out why. So I found myself revisiting Linux after around 8 years.
Though I'm having an issue when I boot. To boot into the USB drive, I needed to do the compatibility mode thing, and after that I need to alter GRUB with the "nomodeset xforcevesa" parameters.
It uses an i7, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU (old as shit, I know, trust me, I'm furious!)
So bumblebee doesn't seem to be a thing that I can use.
Here's my output for "inxi -SGx".

Thanks for the help! <3 This gal is a bit lost :c
