So, I'm trying to setup a dual boot on a 500gb partition. The other partition(s) already has Windows 10.
It starts to go through the setup and I get to the splash screen, then I see a "Linux Mint Login:" and then it kind of blows up and starts scrolling errors incredibly fast. I can't even do a "Pause" to see what it says.
I can pull out something like PCIReport in the scrolling text but that's it, it goes so fast.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Repeating error on install
Does the "bump" mean you have not found any solution to the problem since July?
What version of Mint? 18?
Which Desktop? Cinnamon?
Is Windows installed in UEFI mode?

Re: Repeating error on install
If computer came with Win 10 (or 8, 8.1) there's a good chance the firmware is UEFI (instead of older Bios). Have a look at this tutorial and see if info there is of any help. If you have questions about info in tutorial, post back here rather than in the tutorial thread. As austin.texas said, also make sure to let us know which version Mint you're trying to install. In addition, give following basic info about computer you're trying to install to:
- Make/Model number?
- Approximate age? (If you know.)
- Type of CPU?
- Graphics card?
- How much RAM (memory)?
