Hello,
I have a hp notebook preinstalled with windows 8.1. I made it dual boot with Mint18.
I dis not make a cloneIlla copy before I installed Mint.
Will the Windows or Mint restore work now if I take a clonezilla image now?
Any help is welcome.

Clonezilla will allow you to image and restore single partitions or whole HDs. And, IIRC, if you image the whole drive, you can restore the whole drive or individual partitions using the same image.
