Could not download all repository indexes (serena) 3/21-22/17

Hmm, so my update manager is haveing problems with

Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists ... /InRelease Some index files failed to download.
They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I switched to another place and still having problems
like connection to archive.canonical.com... stalls as well

jnot sure what to do about it at moment

I clicked the link I made in the above post when posting about it, it stalls a bit then shows up.
but a sudo apt-get update
or the update manager cant get past it

it finally got through with a console sudo apt-get update and then an upgrade

but update manager still stalls/fails up the refresh
but now that I did the apt-get update(it stalled too but went through eventually)
it's now up to date(update manager says it is)

Just a server glitch. I have seen this once in awhile for years, it never lasts more than a day or so, usually just a few hours.

What is the meaning of a link, which does only show as an underline? This looks very suspicious and surely I will never click it and warn everybody to click it.

I had the same problem, after a fresh 18.1 installation four days ago. I believe there was a server issue because the problem - mysteriously - ceased to exist today. Many people face the same problem, without managing to solve it.
