the only way i know, is editing the line #GRUB_GFXMODE=640x480 in /etc/default/grub

Code: Select all

gksudo xed /etc/default/grub

removing the # and try various resolution, in this case, removing only the # (in my experience) the writings of the menus are larger, settings 640x480

after the change, run a grub update

Code: Select all

sudo update-grub
