I installed LM18.3 dual-boot onto a friend's Win 10 laptop. Everything worked fine. Now, the friend wanted me to remove LM18.3 and continue to use Win 10.
I deleted the LM18.3 partitions in Win 10 Disk Management, recovered the LM space to Windows C:/ drive.
Then I rebooted using a Win 10 Recovery USB and ran "bootrec.exe /fixmbr" and rebooted.
Now, on reboot, all I see is this Grub error:
GNU GRUB version 2.02~beta2-36ubuntu3.14
Minimal BASH-like line editing ls supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file.
grub> _
I think I may have messed up big time.
I cannot boot from the Windows 10 Recovery USB anymore.
I can enter BIOS if I press F2 immediately after reboot.
How do I fix the Windows 10 bootloader to boot to Windows 10 again?
Any advice is greatly appreciated, and I will buy good IPA beer to anyone able to help.
Thanks in advance.
