Inspiron 17 will only boot from USB

Post by BrettKnoss »

How do I get my Dell Inspirion to boot from the harddrive, instead of the USB. Mint runs great, but only works with the USB in the machine, and I haven't tried to save anything.

Hello BrettKnoss Image

Welcome to Linux Mint and the Linux Mint forum :)

It looks like the boot loader ended up on the flash drive :?

How did you install Mint :?:

Also paste back the results of sudo blkid

I used the installer. I enter sudo blkid in the terminal prompt?

Yes, then copy and paste the output and enclose it in code tags.
