The shutdown process of my Lenovo Ideapad 100 working under Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya is not working properly.
The laptop stays in the shutdown process in 80% of the cases. I have to shut down the laptop by pressing the start button for a long time, of course I'm not happy with that.
I'm afraid this awkward shutdown process can damage my file system. Running the "SysRq key Process" at this time
(1. Hold CTRL + ALT, 2. Press and release SysRQ, 3. Press: R E S S O O (to shut the machine off)) does not work. But maybe I'm not doing something right.
I have this shutdown problem on several of my Linux Mint computers, while others of my Linux Mint computers do not have this problem.
So confusion everywhere. Searching the internet for the solution leads in many cases to the version of the Linux kernel used.

What have I done? (Without result)
1. Grub adjusted: 1.1 sudo xed / etc / default / grub, 1.2 GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet splash acpi = force", 1.3 sudo update-grub
2. Following the article "What is the best kernel for Linux Mint Sylvia_ [SOLVED]" I have booted Linux 4.4 several times.

Who can and wants to let his / her light shine in this dark affair?
Thanks in advance for thinking along.
