Linux 17.3 installation error

Good morning,
I have a dual boot system (Windows 7 proffesional and Linux 17.1) in a Tecra 64 bit computer
I just tried to upgrade to Linux Mint 17.3 and had a package failure with the following message:

...try enabling & installing all Level 3 updates first from Update Manager...you need a newer version of dpkg to be installed first:
