Hello,
I have a dual boot windows 10 and Mint 18.3 Cinnamon installed. Is it possible to install Mint 19, when it is available in sda10 while preserving the data in it? Which option will I need to choose while installing?
Thanks in anticipation.
Installing to a partition, can the data be preserved?

It has been announced, that there will be an upgrade path from LM 18.3 to 19, but until this exists, nobody can judge about its reliability. But whatever you do and how you do it: Backup your data at first! Not backed up data are superfluous data; this is also true, if you do not upgrade!

Update from 18.3 to 19 is excellent news. Till now only upgrade for point release was possible but upgrade for version release wasn't. NB This solves my problem.Cosmo. wrote: ⤴Thu Mar 22, 2018 3:43 pm It has been announced, that there will be an upgrade path from LM 18.3 to 19, but until this exists, nobody can judge about its reliability.
