My user account won't login

Hello,

I have been using Linux Mint 18.3.

After some updates, I started to get a black screen with mouse pointer. Guest user and the others users are fine, they can login with no problem. I can only login to the terminal. I put the harddrive to another computer, nothing has changed, the same problem. So it is not a graphics card issue.

I try to check .xauthority for the permissions but it does not exist.

Any ideas?
