blk_update_request: I/O error, dev sda, section ##########

Post by primuspaul » Fri May 25, 2018 1:29 am

Was watching a video and got that black screen all of a sudden. Have never had it before and after reboot system booted fine. The only thing that happened this time was I accidentally send the system to sleep mode while watching a video, then woke it up and resumed viewing it.

System is on an SSD getting video from external HDD storage.
