Earlier today I made a clonezilla copy of my Linux installation (4.10 by default) and about a few hours ago the update manager popped up telling me there was a kernel update. So I figured "I have a full backup now, let's try it and see what happens". After all one learns best from self-teaching, either by doing it right or wrong.
And I gotta say I'm impressed! This low temperature (see the screenshot) I have seen so far only in Windows 7! The unnecessary load on the CPU I reported not long ago is now gone and the CPU runs at the proper temps. On top of that some programs that were very sluggish with 4.10 now start and run very fast.
So basically this topic is just to express my good feelings about 4.13.0.45 kernel. Thank you, devs!
I'm impressed with the new kernel v4.13.0.45! [Just a little feedback]
