Is anyone aware if this computer will do well with LinuxMint KDE version?
DELL 15.6" Gaming Laptop AMD FX-9800P 3.60GHz 8GB 1TB HD DVD+RW Radeon R7
I'm thinking about purchainsing this laptop: https://ebay.to/2l4IKLa
I heard that AMD is not Linux friendly... but ya never know whether a pc will work or not.
Any insight will be appreciated!

...... you might have been better posting in the Graphics Hardware sub-forum of Hardware ........ maybe a moderator might spot it; and move it?

But your links are for Nvidia. This laptop contains AMD R7.
I wonder what Mint 19 will offer in this regard?

Mint runs since 2017 just well on this machine. LM 18.3 KDE as same as LM19 beta with KDE from Kubuntu backport.
Since 2001 I'm working with AMD platforms. Never a platform problem.I heard that AMD is not Linux friendly
