AMD FX-9800P Run LinuxMint well??

Is anyone aware if this computer will do well with LinuxMint KDE version?

I heard that AMD is not Linux friendly... but ya never know whether a pc will work or not.

But your links are for Nvidia. This laptop contains AMD R7.

I wonder what Mint 19 will offer in this regard?

Mint runs since 2017 just well on this machine. LM 18.3 KDE as same as LM19 beta with KDE from Kubuntu backport.

Since 2001 I'm working with AMD platforms. Never a platform problem.
