Can´t fully recover my backup files after installation of 18.3

Hello community,

I just installed 18.3. When prompted if I wanted to encrypt my installation I chose "yes".

Then, after the fresh install was completed, at the moment of restoring my previously saved files from backup, most of them couldn´t be pasted. The console reported that the files had too long names.

I repeated the fresh installation without the encryption and everything worked fine.

So, this post is to let you guys know that if a new user tries to encrypt either the installation or his home folder, he would not be able to paste back his backup files. Especially not when those files haver long names or special characters in them.

"...the console reported..." I suspect your console command caused the error. Encryption is completely invisible at the copying-files level.
