Can't boot from usb with amd graphics card

Post by Mecanautes » Fri Jun 22, 2018 2:50 pm

Hi, i am the owner from an HP 17-AK045NF, with a amd video card, it's been a month since i have problem with all linux distro, kubuntu worked one time, but after free boot, it didn't boot up again.
So i switched ton Linux Mint but i am unable to boot from the live usb key, when i try to boot in live it says : "[FIRMWARE BUG] Invalid threshold interrupt offset...", Then i have the Linux Mint boot animation, but it's infinite, the pc won't boot.
So i tried in compatibility mode as said here viewtopic.php?t=122257 but it shows normal command line, then billion time the same lines : "XXX Frames dropped, IRQ_NOPROBE SET...."

Can you help please ?
Thanks.

You might try the beta version of Mint 19 on a flash drive to see if that boots. It's possible that whatever version you're currently trying to use doesn't have full AMD support in the kernel.
